Lars Olsen makes three changes to Faroe Islands side to face Spain

Euro 2020 qualifying, Group F, Matchday 6: Faroe Islands national team coach Lars Olsen has made three changes to his line up ahead of Sunday night’s match against Spain at Estadio El Molinón in Gijon.

Jóannes Bjartalíð, Heini Vatnsdal and Klæmint Andrasson Olsen get the nod to come off the bench, taking the place of Árni Frederiksberg, Rene Shaki Joensen and Hørður Askham.

The Faroes will be eager to bounce back following Thursday‘s heavy loss to Sweden, but it is safe to say that they will have a mountain to climb against one of the best sides in world football.

The match between Spain and the Faroe Islands starts at 7.45pm.

Faroe Islands XI: Gunnar Nielsen – Heini Vatnsdal, Atli Gregersen (C), Rógvi Baldvinsson – Sølvi Vatnhamar, Brandur Hendriksson Olsen, Hallur Hansson, Viljormur Davidsen – Jóan Símun Edmundsson, Klæmint Andrasson Olsen – Jóannes Bjartalíð

Substitutes: Kristian Joensen, Teitur Matras Gestsson, Andreas Eriksen, Magnus Egilsson, Kaj Leo í Bartalsstovu, Rene Shaki Joensen, Árni Frederiksberg, Meinhard Olsen og Patrik Johannesen
