Thank God! The pilots signed a new contract! Atlantic Airways won’t be hammered by strike after all

Airline pilots will not go on strike after all as The Faroese Airline Pilots’ Association and The Employers’ Association signed a new contract earlier this week, reports Kvf.fo.

Both parties agreed the terms of the third draft settlement, which means that the threatened pilot strike has been called off.

With the new contract, which is valid from 1 April 2018 to 31 March 2019, the pilots receive a 2.3% pay-rise, and adjustments have been made with regards to their working conditions, writes Kvf.fo.
