After a rather horrendous weekend weather-wise, the weather will change for the better next week, according to the weather forecast, which calls for light winds and little rain – especially towards the end of the week, writes Faroese news webpage VP.fo.
VP adds that some sunny spells are expected next weekend.
Many locals and tourists alike will welcome this weather perport after a weekend, which saw a caravan flip on its side during high winds in Kollfjarðadalur, and which also saw SAS cancel a Faroe-bound flight due to bad weather.
