The Faroe Islands will come up against Azerbaijan, Malta and Kosovo in the inaugural UEFA Nations League later this year.
The Faroes have been placed in Group D3 following Wednesday afternoon’s draw from Lausanne in Switzerland.
Every team will face off against the teams in their group home and away, with the winner of the group being promoted for the following season.
In Group A, the four group winners will face off at the ‘Fab Four’ tournament in summer 2019.
The group stage fixtures will take place in September, October and November 2018:
Matchday 1: Sep 6-8
Matchday 2: Sept 9-11
Matchday 3: Oct 11-13
Matchday 4: Oct 14-16
Matchday 5: Nov 15-17
Matchday 6: Nov 18-20
