It is a rare occurrence these days, but last night it happened again: Vagar Airport announced that two scheduled arrivals were cancelled due to winter weather storm in the Faroe Islands.
Atlantic Airways evening flights from Bergen and Copenhagen were cancelled and rearranged for this morning.
Faroese news website JN.fo writes that the flight from Copenhagen arrived at 7.20 a.m. this morning, while the flight from Bergen arrived at 7.58 am.
The Faroe Islands saw very high winds last night (southwest winds 17-25 ms, gusts 32-50 ms), but today the wind speeds have decreased (southwest winds 9 ms).
