The one and only cinema in Tórshavn, “Havnar Bio” has – perhaps much to the delight of some or much to the chagrin of others – decided to get rid of its locally famous 5-10 minute intermission during movies.
Dimma.fo writes that Havnar Bio is probably the only cinema in Scandinavia that, up until recently, has had an interval during movies.
However, that is now a thing of the past, and, thus, if you really want another soda, more popcorn, a lion bar or a cup of coffee during the movie you’re watching (not to mention if you need to go to the toilet), you will have to accept that you will lose a couple of minutes of the movie.
