Tonight at the Municipal Library in Tórshavn: Knitting needles unite newcomers and “native” Faroese people

Tuesday 28 August Intertwining is arranged at the Municipal Library in Tórshavn. Intertwining is an arrangement with the purpose of giving native and new Faroese people the opportunity to meet, talk and spend a nice evening together. 

Intertwining which takes place from 19.30 to 21.30, is arranged by Red Cross, and the motive is to create a good environment for integration.

It is also possible to attend a language course in Faroese for beginners. The language course starts at seven o’clock and lasts for 30 minutes.

This Tuesday Ms Siri Helgadóttir Tórgarð will give a presentation on the integration work in the municipality of Tórshavn. Ms Tórgarð is in charge of the integration work in the municipality. Her presentation will be given at eight o’clock and lasts approximately 30 minutes.

Tea, coffee and some small snacks will be served.

The arrangement is public and free of charge, and everybody is more than welcome to participate.

Tuesday 11 December.
