Swimmer Rókur Trygvason set a new Faroese record

On Sunday, Rókur Trygvason made history when he swam 50 meters of freestyle in 22.94 seconds.

This is a new Faroese record, and this also makes him the first Faroese ever to swim 50 meters in under 23 seconds, according to svimjing.com.

This happened during the final of “Ægir Open” in Klaksvík.
