Sundown viewed from Sornfelli and above—photos

Saturday July 8th saw beautiful weather across the Faroes however with stratus clouds gathering in places ahead of sunset shortly before midnight. Typically, the plateau just below the summit of Sornfelli—the famous mountain towering 725 meters above sea level between Kaldbaksbotnur and Norðradalur on the island Streymoy—drew crowds of tourists, domestic and foreign, eager to enjoy the stunning views offered from there.
