Streets of Tórshavn erupt in celebration as Faroe Islands beat Sweden in European Open final

Handball: Last Friday, the Faroe Islands beat Sweden 36-29 in the European Open 17 final in front of more than 6.000 fans at the Scandinavium in Gothenburg.

Back in the Faroes, more than 100 Faroese fans gathered in Central Tórshavn (Vágsbotnur) to watch the match on a big screen.
