SAS flights between Copenhagen, the Faroe Islands cancelled for Monday and Tuesday as pilot strike continues

SAS will cancel 1.213 flights on Monday and Tuesday as a result of an ongoing pilot strike, the Scandinavian airline said on Sunday.

This means that there will be no SAS flights to and from the Faroe Islands today and tomorrow.

The Faroe-bound flight was supposed to arrive at 12.15 p.m. today and head back to Copenhagen at 1.05 p.m.

The open-ended strike started last Friday following the collapse of pay negotiations with the SAS Pilot Group, which represents 95% of the company’s pilots in Denmark, Norway and Sweden.

SAS said it “deeply regrets” the distress to clients on its domestic, European and long-haul flights.
