Airline SAS cancelled flights from Copenhagen to the Faroe Islands on Saturday due to bad weather, reports Faroese news webpage JN.fo.
The weather has been particularly bad in the Faroe Islands over the weekend, and it did not come as a surprise to many locals that SAS – which regularly cancels Faroe-bound flights because of bad weather – chose to cancel the Saturday evening flights to and from the Faroe Islands.
Meanwhile, Faroese airline Atlantic Airways did not cancel any of its scheduled flights on Saturday, writes JN.fo, adding that the Saturday evening arrival was, however, delayed by four hours.
