Research Council grants DKK 148.000 to fund project that seeks to reveal how many people have metabolic diseases in the Faroe Islands

Research Council Faroe Islands has decided to grant funds for two projects from the Health Insurance Fund.

According to Gransking.fo, a grant of 148.000 DKK has been given to the Metabolism Association for a project titled “How many have metabolism disease in the Faroe Islands”.

The Metabolism Association will carry out the projects in cooperation with Herborg Líggjasardóttir Johannesen, specialist in endochrinology at the National Hospital of the Faroe Islands.

A grant of DKK 30,000 has been given to The Association for the Mentally Disabled for a conference under the title of “Life close to Mental Illness”. The conference will be held in the Nordic House on March 13.
