The population of Eiði municipality has grown a lot these past eight years.
According to Statistics Faroe Islands, the population of Eiði municipality (the villages of Eiði, Ljósá and Svínáir) was 757 on the 1st of December 2019.
According to the website of Eiði municipality, the population has also grown by 100 people since January 2012.
