More than 5,000 people marched in the annual Faroe pride parade on Saturday.
Parade participants danced in the streets of Tórshavn, waving flags and holding banners.
The parade started at 4pm right next to Tórsvøllur, the national football stadium, and then made its way to Vaglið, the parliament square, in central Tórshavn.
There, Faroese artists Teitur Lassen, Jasmin and Marble Lost performed a couple of songs, while Danish TV host Hans Pilgaard gave a speech, much to the delight of the thousands of spectators who seemed to enjoy the day out.
Obviously, it did not make matters worse that the weather was quite lovely.
Faroe Pride always takes place on July 27, the day before the national holiday Ólavsøka.
