Around 30 newcomers today received a diploma in Faroese issued by Tórshavn’s Evening School (Tórshavnar Kvøldskúli).
This comes after two intensive courses in Faroese for foreigners began at Tórshavn’s Evening School on September 3rd. One course was for beginners, while the other was for people who know a little bit of Faroese.
The courses have taken place 16 to 20 hours a week for the last two months or so.
