A person was killed in a tragic workplace accident on Wednesday morning at the quarry in Glyvursnes, located southeast of Argir, Tórshavn.
Faroe Islands Police report that the accident is under investigation. According to Kringvarp Føroya, it is the driver of a dump truck who was killed in the accident.
The incident took place around 2.30am on Wednesday morning.
