For many days, the police have been wandering around Vágsbotn looking for a criminal that has been putting plastic bags on sensors for vehicle blocks next to the fish market. That’s according to In.fo
The investigation finally paid off today, when two policemen had been peaking behind Hotel Tórshavn waiting for the criminal to show up. After some time, Mortan Johannesen was caught red-handed and will receive a large fine in the mail.
Johannesen explained that the idea for keeping vehicle blocks away by putting plastic bags on the sensors came after experiencing a decline in sales when the vehicle blocks are in use.
