22-year-old Scottish singer-songwriter Lewis Capaldi will headline this year’s G! Festival.
Capaldi achieved mainstream successes throughout 2018 and scored his first number one hit single on Friday with ‘Someone You Loved’. He beat Calvin Harris to the top spot in the UK charts after tallying 58.000 sales as well as six millions streams.
G! Festival writes on its webpage that “we are delighted to announce Lewis Capaldi for G! 2019. Lewis has taken sad songs, with an incredible wit, and a rampant social media following to match, and made it his very own. The results are hilariously beautiful. The 2019 G! Festival will take place between Thursday 11 July and Sunday 14 July 2019.
