37.819 people have the right to vote in the parliamentary elections, which are held today.

375 Faroese students, who are studying abroad, are registered to vote – a little bit less than in 2015 when 670 students were registered to vote.
Polls opened this morning at 10am and close tonight at 8pm.
There are 57 polling districts across the country – down from 58 in 2015 & 60 in 2011.
Voter turnout in 2015 was 88.8 percent.
