Yet another Intertwining – the integration arrangement in Tórshavn – takes place on Tuesday 26 March at the Municipal Library in Tórshavn.
The purpose of Intertwining is to create an opportunity for native and new Faroese people to meet, mingle and spend a nice evening together.
Intertwining is held the last Tuesday evening of the month from 7.30 pm to 9.30 pm. The event is arranged by Faroese Red Cross, and the motive is to create a good environment for integration.
If you arrive at 7 pm, you can also attend a Faroese language course for beginners. The language course lasts for 30 minutes and is free of charge.
This Tuesday Ms Deirdre Hansen, Carrier Guidance Counsellor, will give a presentation about possibilities for newcomers in the Faroese Educational System. After the presentation, you can ask questions about the subject.
Tea, coffee and some small snacks will be served.
The arrangement is public and free of charge, and everybody is more than welcome to participate, say the organizers.
The Intertwining programme for spring 2019 is as follows:
Tuesday 26 March
Tuesday 30 April
Tuesday 28 May
