From January 2017 to November 2017, the Faroe Islands exported 8 billion DKK and imported 6,6 billion DKK.
Hagstova Føroya states that the Faroese export increased 9% while the Faroese import increased 14% in 2017.
The Faroe Islands exported salmon worth 3,6 billion DKK from January 2017 to November 2017 – a 9% increase.
The export of mackerel, herring and blue whiting was worth 1,7 billion DKK from January 2017 to November 2017 – a 16% increase.
