Faroese drivers have already bought more new vehicles in 2018 than they ever have, edging out the record set just one year earlier.
In the first eleven months of 2018, 2.010 new passenger cars were sold in the Faroe Islands.
This is 200 more than all of 2017, according to the Faroese Vehicle Administration (Akstovan).
Car sales have almost tripled in a decade, from 697 in 2009 to more than 2.000 in 2018, reports Kringvarp Føroya.
