Several flights at Vágar Airport are seeing delays due to heavy winds, 15-20 m/s Southwest, Monday afternoon.
According to fae.fo, seven flights – 3 outbound & 4 inbound – have been delayed by more than one hour.
The 1.15pm Atlantic Airways departure to Edinburgh has been moved to 8pm, while the 7.50pm Atlantic Airways arrival from Copenhagen has been moved to 01.45am (22 October).
No flights have been cancelled.
Due to bad weather conditions, the two bus routes on the island of Suðuroy (700 & 701) have been cancelled for the remaining departures today.
Route 410 (Fuglafjørður-Gøtudalur-Klaksvík) has also been cancelled for the rest of the day.
