Last Saturday, more than 1.000 women gathered in Tórshavn, the capital city of the Faroe Islands, to participate in the annual “Women’s race” (Kvinnurenning).
The event was hosted by Faroese magazine Kvinna (Woman) and locals sports store Thomas Dam Intersport.
Women of all ages, including super power mothers, ran with the strollers, carrying their babies on them.
All in all, it was an amazing day.
Most importantly, however, the “Women’s race” promotes a healthy lifestyle and represents a unique opportunity to share some time with your family and friends whilst being offline.
