Three cars were involved in a serious crash on Eysturoy (Millum Fjarða) – between Norðskálatunnilin and the village of Skálabotnur – on Tuesday at 5.15pm.

Three cars were involved in a serious crash on Eysturoy (Millum Fjarða) – between Norðskálatunnilin and the village of Skálabotnur – on Tuesday at 5.15pm.

Luckily, no one was seriously injured, but one person was taken to the hospital in Tórshavn after suffering a head injury, while other persons received minor injuries.

Traffic was halted for about 50 minutes as fire trucks and ambulances raced to the scene.
