The Faroe Islands seek membership in WorldSkills Europe

Minister of Education Hanna Jensen has signed an application for the Faroe Islands to become a member of WorldSkills Europe.

WorldSkills Europe is an organization with a mission to raise the profile of and awareness of quality craftsmanship. It provides a platform for sharing share ideas and best practices and provides lessons and inspiration for developing vocational skills and training systems. WorldSkills Europe arranges competitions, events and meeting, which also serve as opportunities for networking and establishing connections.

Should the Faroe Islands be accepted as a member, The Federation of Faroese Industries will represent the islanders in the organization.
