The Arrow Houses in Norðagøta – The Secret Faroese Town

G! Festival: Local Faroese artist Tummas Jákup Thomsen has created an outdoor art installation at G! this year.

The art work is a part of the event “Always Coming Home” where local publisher Eksil and Danish The Laboratory of Aesthetics and Ecology bring an array of people from many countries together in renegotiating limits and potentials of home, ancestry, family and kinship.

Through panels, exhibitions, workshops, and performances, the art program will explore modest hope and situated regenerative practices, staying with the impossibilities of being able to always be coming home. Inspired by American writer Ursula K. Le Guin (1929-2018).
