As we all know there are more sheep than human beings in the Faroe Islands. The ordinary Faroese probably do not think about this fun fact too much but from time to time you might be cruelly reminded of this reality.
And increasing numbers think that the countries should co-operate more. These are the conclusions of a survey of 3.000 residents from Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, the Faroe Islands, Greenland, and Åland.

Greenlandic coastal passenger carrier Sarfaq Ittuk, which has been stuck in heavy ice in Torssukatak in southern Greenland since last Wednesday, has finally broken free. The captain of the ship is from the Faroe Islands.
