Eysturoy Municipality’s new Town Hall has been awarded its second architecture prize. The building, which also functions as a bridge and was designed by Faroese architect Ósbjørn Jacobsen, won in the category Institutional Architecture, awarded by Architecture MasterPrize.
Students from the Faroe Islands and abroad will be able to study an art degree at the University of the Faroe Islands starting in August 2019. This is the first time an art degree is available at University level in the Faroe Islands.
