Faroese restaurant KOKS, which won a Michelin star in 2017 and retained it in 2018, has announced it will move from its current location in Kirkjubøur to a remote valley by Leynavatn, a mere 20 minutes’ drive from the capital, Tórshavn.
Bakkafrost has ordered a 75-meter feed barge from JT Electric, its second from the company. The feed barge will be delivered with a modern feed facility made by JT and equipped with a pelleting control system that offers good feed utilization.
Norwegian seine vessel Herøy has been sold to a company in the Faroe Islands, reports Vestlandsnytt.no today. The trawler, currently owned by local company Eros, will be handed to the new owners on April 30.

Heinrich Köhler Auction House states that the collection which was formed by Geoffrey Noer from California “is the most important and exciting collection of the Faroe Islands containing rare and unique items from 1751 to 1948”.
