Bakkafrost bids for remaining Scottish Salmon Company shares

Faroese salmon farmer Bakkafrost has announced a mandatory offer for all of the SSC shares which are not already owned by Bakkafrost, reports Salmonbusiness.com.

Bakkafrost is already the beneficial owner of 80.77% of all the common shares issued by the Company. The offer price is NOK 28.25, which is the highest price paid by Bakkafrost for the company’s depositary receipts and common shares during the last 6 months.

The offer period commences on 11 November and ends on 9 December, subject to possible extensions of up to two weeks, writes Salmonbusiness.com.
